Bio

​

As a lawyer, you will counsel your clients though some of the most difficult or high-stakes moments of their life. It is my privilege to offer this website as a source of encouragement, support, and counsel to you as you enter the legal profession.

While I am not an attorney myself, I have five years of experience working as a psychotherapist and educator for law students as the in-house psychotherapist for law students in Washington DC.

I have worked as an individual and group therapist in a variety of outpatient treatment settings including private clinics, community clinics, and college health centers for the past ten years.

​

Serving as the treatment team member for an innovative Recovery Court allowed me the chance to appear in court regularly. Using restorative justice principles, I collaborated with attorneys and judges to support people with substance abuse concerns, rather than merely punishing them.
